This seatpost never made it on my bike but my Thompson replacement is confirmed to be 30.9. Pivot says(Pivot Mach 5.7 XT groupo is what i bought that this seatpost and handlebar set came from) all there frames are 30.9 seatpost with 34.9 clamp. I chose 31.6 to tie it to a product on FSA's site. The actual markings on the post are 30.9(photo'd. FSA says they offer this in 27.2& 31.6 diameter.
I did research both Pivot's site and FSA and found conflicting. And I'm not sure if its the difference between inside vs outside diameter. 31.6 as I have it listed vs 30.9 which is what was photo'd. Seller added the following information: A question came about the diameter of the seatpost.
